I have had a kitten with ear polyps. They removed one and thought they had it but then there was a second. Yes surgery was required for removal. It was not cheap it was about $1300. They can cause presure on the eye, the brain, clog the nasal passage. If left there can cause hearing loss, grow down the nasal cavity to the thoart. I had to go to a specialist because of the size of the kitten and the type of surgery that was required. Call around to other vets and see what they can do for you. Talk to your Vet and ask what will happen if you left it there. I know how you feel that is alot of money to put in a cat. Keep me informed about this very loved kitty. This is Big Red who had the polyps removed.

Tiny Paws (!?!) ready to walk in and on your heart. They will dig a hole and plant themselves there and grow like weeds wrapping themselves around your heart and soul.
