Hey, Thanks, Crikit. Yeah, I knew they like to run. My old roommate's husky was never allowed off leash unless it was a completely secure area (like a dog park), so, I'd be prepared for a dog that I couldn't let go like that. I believe there is a breeder in College Station here in Texas, and, it's about a four hour drive, but, that would be ok. I really want to check out a few different breeders and breeds before I consider getting a dog. Dobermans have always interested me and I love the loyalty and grace of the breed. I also won't crop the ears or dock the tail if I get one. Anyway....thanks again for the info.
