Cat nails are similar to dog nails ecept you need to "push them out". you already know that.

They have quicks but they should be easy to see. Even my black cats have nails light enough in color to see the "pink" quick and the "white" nail.

Don't go ALL the way to the pink because there might be a tiny blood vessel (capillary) that you can not see.

Remember, you can always take more, but once it's off.....IT'S OFF!
