Welcome to PT!!!
Very cute.
I have a 12 weeks Dachshund, Gigi. She is pretty much paper trained when she came home with us. Though she still has accidents from time to time (TWO this morning!
). Every morning, I lead her to her paper and tell her to pee, when she is done I will praise her, then she gets her breakfast. And I have to keep a very close eye on her just to be sure she pee on the right place. And if accidents happened just say "no" and put her back on the paper. You could put the paper towel with your puppy's smell on the newspaper so the paper has smell on it, that's what I do. And I make sure I praise her and give her treats when she is doing it correctly. Gigi likes to chew too, I just gave her lots of toys... and I tell her "no" if she is biting me or things she should not.
Well, I am still trying to train her well, so I don't have too much advise to give you. Hope this may help you.
