The sound of water running in the sink gets his attention and he used to like to watch me pour water down the toilet when I had scrubbed the floor. One day he ran into the bathroom because he heard the splashing start. He had too much momentum going and wound up on the rim and then fell right in. Fortunately he was too big to go down the drain. He has never shown any interest in the toilet since then!
