Kim this whole idea is better than you know!! I guess I had never really thought about it but since I have joined PT and met other cat loving people I don't feel so alone. Not to mention finally meeting other people that have more cats than I do!! My family, friends, and co-workers think I'm nuts. I can handle that because they have all had to take a very serious chewing from me about animal rescue. I pretty much get left alone these days because my good friends understand how passionate I am about the whole thing. I can take what they dish out because my love for my cats and ALL homeless animals means more to me than words from stupid people.
ANYWAY! My husband has probably not been able to feel the "I'm not alone" part before. He has always been able to blame me for our cat overload situation. I don't care because it has always been the easy way out for him with family and co-workers. And that has always been ok with me as long as I know better. He loves our cats and is as guilty or responsible for how many we have as I am.
Now on to the true purpose of this post...I showed my husband (Joe) your website last night. He got a real kick out of seeing some of our cats on your bag and box kitty pages. Then I told him about the perfect man page and showed him the proud cat dads that had already been posted. I saw this big grin come across his face. I told him that I was sending his picture in and he just smiled. I also noticed that there was a lot more cat interaction with him after he saw that. I think he now realizes that he is not ALONE! He is not the only man that loves cats! He also saw that it is not always crazy old women that live alone with a housefull of kitties and eat cat food for dinner!!
I just want to say thank you for your beautiful website and to let you know that it may be doing more good than you know!!
