Yes it is very unusual indeed! We got 7 inches yesterday! I took tons more pics that I will post in just a little bit so everyone can see just how much snow we got. I really was in awe (sp?) yesterday as I am used to hot California weather and have never lived anywhere it snowed before. Two years ago it snowed lightly when my mother came to visit but nothing like this.

There was so much snow I was going to make a snowman, but we don't have warm enough gloves. Although I may just try to do it without gloves today, hehe. It's so fun but dangerous too. One person died when they drove their car into a telephone pole, and a lot of people are without power. We are so lucky to have power as it seems like everytime there is a storm ours goes out. If my friends power does not come on tonight I will be sitting her animals until it comes back on. She has some of my rats and took two of my rescued hammies.
