I forgot to mention what I'm cooking back here in the kitchen today! OK, maybe it's a "Southern Thang" but we must have blackeyed peas for good luck. Always on New Years day. So I'm fixing up a large pork roast (with saurkraut for Jenny & I) and a pot of buttery, garlicky blackeyed peas and corn bread. I'll fix up some other greens for those that need it but we must eat at least ONE blackeyed pea for good luck. Ain't nothin' but a thing..By the way Richard, that DOTD was verrry yummy!
