Right before Helen and I moved here, I told her we would drive until we found snow. We lived in Columbia, SC at the time, and she was 4. We drove to Greenville, kept going, started seeing snow on the ground outside of town, but we kept going, and I remember her saying "find more", and we ended up driving to the top of the mountain to a place called Caesar's Head, where there is a state park, and we tromped through one foot of snow. Had a wonderful time, then turned around and drove all the way back to Columbia with our wet jeans and shoes! That was one of the most fun and memorable "trips" I can ever remember taking with her!!! And she doesn't even remember it, except through the stories I tell!!
