Just got a call from the Emergency Vet. He is doing fine. They thought the wound was either a bite wound or a ruptured cyst. They cleaned it up, gave him some antibiotics.

The really great news is
They located his family

They came to pick him up this morning. I am so happy - I worried about this dog all night long.
