But, again, it's the truth. Bread is something you bake.

And I don't see how it was rude, anyways.

    ...some people.
Some people? Some people should watch how they word their "jokes" because they can be very hurtful. Sometimes it's better not to say anything at all, truth or not. Telling someone not to breed a dog is one thing, telling someone needless spelling corrections is just stupid.

Spelling problems can follow somone around and torment them. Even when someone tries to help, their "jokes" don't help at all. Suggesting not to breed a dog is not the same as "joking" about a chronic problem. My best friend failed english 10 last year because she can't read or spell well, and she would be very hurt by what some might call a "joke" that "isn't meant to hurt."

LOL. I still don't see how telling her "bread is something you bake, no what a dog does" is rude.

Calling my 'joke' (which honestly, wasn't meant to harm anyone or cause you to get a fuss about it) stupid could follow me around and torment me as well. Will it? Probably not. But, It was much more uncalled for than correcting someone's spelling.

So, Is it rude for a teacher to correct a kid's spelling?

IMO, everyone has something they can teach one another, whether if it's their job or not. If correcting someone's spelling and helping them learn a bit more is rude.... then HECK i'm rude.

It's not like your opinion on me would change otherwise.

    Huh?
I've never met a teacher that would use a "correction" so bluntly. When I was 12, my teacher would have explained to me the difference between bread and bred and then showed me some examples. But that would be in class. On an internet forum, what's the point? You KNEW what she meant, is what I'm saying. You didn't need an affirmation. We are not in a classroom, and spelling mistakes shouldn't be taken for granted because some people have real problems with grammar.

    LMFAO Jordan, oh Jordan..

You crack me up sooo much!

What's the point for spelling on an internet forum? You mean there's no point to spelling correctly?

I don't believe spelling mistakes are taken for granted, nor should they be ignored. If my spelling was/is incorrect, i'd want someone to tell me. She may or may not have real problems with grammar, but nothing's going to change if she's never corrected.
Sort of like training a dog, if you don't correct it when it's incorrect, then it's never going to learn. And no, i'm not saying she's a dog.

And thanks for telling me that we're not in a classroom. I really had NO idea!

Anyways.. Enough of that now, Back to the original topic, thank yas!

Just like you to laugh at everything. I'd hate to see you at the scene of a murder. Yeah, don't bother replying back saying lmao because I know that you're laughing.

I didn't say that. I said there's no point to CORRECTING spelling on an internet forum.

Momo, do you think you'll put Blue Belle into any of those sports? Any pics? If you want to stay, you should pm Karen your phone number and get her to call your parents to see if you can. You are supposed to be 13 to be here.
