I love this topic! When I was a child, every time we got a new pet, my dad would say to tease me, "Let's call him Jackson!" I always thought this was such an awful name, I wanted a real "pet" name. Now that I'm grown up, I would love to have a pet named Jackson, which would bring my dad's memory back to me, but, my three most recent cats have all been girls! So Fuzzy317, I'll let you know when I get my long awaited Jackson - the day WILL come!

I'm a "real name" fan, too. Sadie was Smudge when we adopted her, but I thought this was more a boy's name, and also I do like names to end in the "-ie" sound.

Threre's been some super subjects and posts recently, I've been so busy reading them, I can't find the time to post myself. I blame Martin!
