We chose the name Pesto for our little girl because we wanted something that was not a common animal name, but we also didn't want something human, or something that was neither but also sounded stupid as an animal name. I wrote out a list of whatever came to my head (a lot of spices made the list)but Pesto was the only one my husband agreed with. Everyone loves her name.
