What a great idea! It's getting a bit cold at night here, and Kissy still sleeps on my front porch. She has only just started sleeping on a cushion I gave her about a month ago
and I was wondering what I could do for her for shelter when the weather gets even colder (Dont want to spend money on a kennel as she may feel trapped and end up not using it). I think I'll steal your idea and make one from a storge box. Maybe if she likes it I can get her a real one!
Oh good! The nice thing with these is they can jump up and the lid will pop off, a good way for an escape if needed. Hope it works for her.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
