The first chicken was made from the egg (fertilized reproductive cell) inside the chicken-like bird that laid it later. A gamma ray from the sun likely hit its nucleus and altered its DNA (genetic code), before it divided the first time.

Thus, the first embryo chicken developed inside an egg laid by another bird.

After it hatched and was cared for by another bird (its mother), it successfully mated with a bird (like its father), and laid the first chicken egg. All chickens come from this first mutated bird.

Evolution does not negate creation by God, it just argues that creation is ongoing, not something that was accomplished on a certain date less than 5,000 years ago.
