Food bowl probably every other day, and once a week I try to 'soak' it in hot soapy water.
Water bowl, Kylie shares with the dog so I rinse it every day and again soak it once a week in hot soapy water.
I also throw in a couple efferdent tablets to the bowls when soaking.
I always keep those on hand, they are excellant for disenfecting things.
