If you have to do carpet, consider indoor/outdoor type carpeting that doesn’t require a pad underneath. It’s actually the pad that’s so dirty. It absorbs all the accidents and dirt. (sort of like a big ole sponge) We have indoor/outdoor carpeting here in the office and if something spills, its much easier to blot up and cleaning and disinfecting it’s a breeze.
