Hmmm, that's an interesting detail, but when "convex" means "down in the middle" (sorry, I can't remember, too long ago LOL), this is Luna, not Lily. It's the other way around.Lily's is convex. (down in the middle)
Luna's is concave. (up in the middle)
Okay, Luna is the one in the background, and Lily in the front. She's (still) a bit smaller, and has more black between her ears (as Ally Cat's Mommy had pointed out). And Barbara is also right about the greyish and brownish shades in their fur.
Actually it's easy to tell them apart: Luna has a lot of orange areas in her fur, while Lily has absolutely no red/orange. Luna has this cute milk coffee colored paw. And their markings are also different: Luna's "stripes" are bigger and wider and she only has a few, while Lily has tiny ones and a lot of them. All in all, Lily is much darker than Luna.
Their noses look different, too; that convex and concave theory goes here as well! And Luna has more white around her mouth. They also have different whiskers. Luna's are very long while Lily's are short and kind of crinkled!
Did this help?
sirrahbed, I like to photograph, but I'm no pro. It's a hobby.
CatDad, you're probably right and you're harder with yourself. I just think I've taken better photos in the past than these ones, that's all.
