I understand your concern, but I don't think you need to worry that much.![]()
Fister only has one and a half of the long sharp ones left. One had come loose after a fight in the yard with a new male cat, so that came out, along with the other which was a little loose too. One broke when he was a kitten - before we got him. So he's got one and a half of those left.
After the "dentist" visit, he adjusted very quickly and now he has no problems eating his dry food. OK, bits and pieces slip out sometimes, but he gets what he wants.
