Wheeeew!
THANKS, God!
Hey Zipp ~
Did Doc say "...it IS a form of hip dysplasia"?
First GSD "Casey" (RB
) was thought to be suffering hip dysplasia when she became sore and stiff in the hips at age 5... But a close examination determined her hips were reasonably "tight" - and that she was actually suffering from arthritis.
We were cautioned to not let her "overdo" her running, jumping, and fetching... Yea, RIGHT, Doc!
Back in those days the *fix* for Dawggie Arthritis was either Hi-Tech meds or plain ole ASPIRIN. We chose the aspirin route because there were Less Possible Side-Effects; and Casey lived a pain-free and VERY Active life to 13.
Smokey, with his Bum Knee, takes Glucosamine AND aspirin. You might ask the Vet if *aspirin* could or should be given to Sara after the Rimadyl is finished.
As for the thought that
"... a little "FLUFFY THERAPY" might be just what the doctor ordered..."
Sara could prolly forget ALL ABOUT her aches & pains with Miz Fluffy
around to distract her!
SO Glad Miz Sara has a manageable problem that
can be dealt with!
{{{HUGGz}}} ALL Around!
