in fact at one time animals were only food. It was in prehistoric times when the first animals were made into companions. Ok I don't eat horse, Sheep and waterfowl. We are taking food and turning them into pets. Most ducks and geese are food as we all know there aren't a lot of pet ducks out there compared to those who are the dinner not the guest.
