I have to agree with cubby31682. I dated someone that was 3 years oler than me in high school. It was a normal relationship. We had no issues of “pressure”.

Just an FYI – it’s not illegal in most states to date someone under the age of 18 of you’re 18 or over, it is illegal to have sex with a minor, though. To make dating a minor illegal, would be an impossible law to uphold, especially when teenagers are dating. Someone’s going to turn 18 first, after all.
