amoore and micky I have never posted on her but have read for about one year. I think it is interesting that we are all so close together. I live in Merkel, who is playing Sweetwater in football tonight. I am between Wylie and Sweetwater.

Ooops - sorry! I missed this!

[quote]You really have a nice family of loveable babies. Kate is a beautiful girl with the loveliest blue eyes!!! I bet she keeps you entertained with her antics, and probably keeps your lap warm throughout every season.[quote]

Yup - Kate's a sweety! Her eyes are changing colors now, though. I think they're going to be a copper color.

[quote]I love the shape on Toby's chest! Looks like a white heart. Please tell us all more about these special kitties.[quote]

Toby's as real sweetheart! So that's what the mark is - a sweet heart!

[quote]Jake is a really beautiful collie. [quote]

Thanks! He's actually an oversized sheltie, but everybody thinks he's a collie.

[quote]Is Max a German Shepherd? [quote]

His mother was German Shepherd. We don't know what his dad was, but we think Rottweiler. Max is super duper sweet.

[quote]I have April, the Shihtzu that is under my name to the left here, who in this picture is "praying". First she sits up, but we call that sitting pretty. Seems like she can do this for five minutes at a time! Then she puts her little pays together as she sits pretty and steals our hearts all over again. But she steals mine all over again with each day that passes and with every funny, cute, and loving thing she does, as I am sure you are familiar with this feeling with all that you have there to love. I miss having feline babies! I had three boys for a long time who were spoiled so very rotten but was such entertainment to watch the three of them play togther. We moved from the house we had lived in for most of the time we had them and one by one they all just diappeared. I had my favorite was Smokey, a Blue British Shorthair. I was in despair over him for a year, before i began to heal. Everywhere I went for the longest time, my eyes scanned everything we passed, as I hope to see these three boys again. But alas, I never saw them again. Have a great day stawase and please share with me about your babies soon. [quote]

April sounds like a real dollie! I just love sweet little lap dogs. I don't know why I decided to go with bigger dogs instead - guess you can't have your cake and eat it too! I know what you mean about cats disappearing - that happened with some of our cats that we had years ago. No clue what ever happened to them! Once we adopted 3 kittens, and we had them indoors, and one day during a thunderstorm they just vanished!!!! We checked the floor vents and closets and everywhere. They never did turn up - ???

If you want to see more pictures of my fur family, you can visit my album. I just put it together yesterday.

    Nice talking to you!

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

My chihuahua is the first dog of such small size I have ever owned . Like you, I don't know where to find clothes that small ! I know I have got to come up with something before cold weather sets in . I can tell when there is a chill in the air she starts shaking . I guess I'm going to try to sew her some little clothes and tailor them for her . So far i wrap her in a baby blanket when she is cold .

    Amoore,

I heard that there was a pattern for making them sweaters out of tube socks! I'm going to do an internet search and if I find one, I'll post it!

edit: I just tried to find it. The only thing I found was a reference that said "Used the cuffed part for the neck, and cut holes of the appropriate sizes in the appropriate places for the legs.

Hmmmm - I don't have a chihuahua here to measure! If you make these successfully, can you measure out the locations and sizes of the leg holes?

It would be so cute to use different types of holiday socks, wool socks, argyle etc. etc.

There are patterns that you can either knit or crochet, that are good, but the tube sock would work fine, my youngest daughter always used socks as sweaters for her babies.
Now my older daughter was finally talked into taking chihuahua for a pet, now they have her spoiled rotten, they dress her up for Halloween (as a bat or an angel) and here is a picture she took of some kind of sweater she put on hers. Her chihuahua is a long haired chihuahua, she is very beautiful, of course her mother is my Buffy.

Stacwase :I love all your pretty babies in your signature . Thank you, I will try tube socks for her. There are some neat ones that would be pretty ! I know she will like some kind of clothes when winter hits .
trayi52:I'm not good at knitting , or crocheting , so I think I will go with the tube socks . I love your Grover .
    Willow is cute !

    Tiny

What an adorable picture of Tiny AND her toes! She is a lovely little baby. I could look at her pictures all day and never get bored. I believe her colors are not so common in chihuahua's are they? She is just a gem! PLEASE, share more pictures of the beautiful Tiny.

    STawase: "oops i missed this"

Hey that is alright. Life can be busy, and I know sometimes I have not been able to answer all of my replies, but when I don't, I hope that these that were so nice as to comment on my babies, will understand. I understand if someone doesn't get to answer mine right away. I appreciate your ansers to my comments...I liked this answer to my question about whether that was a white heart..."it's a sweet heart". That is so sweet. I know you love your babies. Thanks for inviting me to view your album. I will as soon as I can. I will probably do that now, as if I don't, I may never get to it. So much going on right now, I am having a hard time keeping up in here. You large babies are a treasure too, even if you can't have them in your lap. You still find away to hold them close and love them as I can tell from reading your comments, it is obvious what your big babies mean to you. I love hearing everyone's family stories here.

    Thanks a lot Stawase!

    Your album:Stawase

I didn't get to view your album Stawase, i clicked on your link and nothing happened...I have an idea it might be something to do with it not being underlined like the rest. Sorry, I really wanted to see them. Won't you try viewing them and see if you hav luck without that underline. This was the first album i have had this problem with. If you get it so that it can be viewed.

Thanks Anathiona , maybe I will catch on to the spelling of your name . It is a very beautiful name but I'm bad at spelling .
I'm sorry about the lost cats . I know how hard that is ! I once had a sheltie that our neighbor stole out of our yard and gave away to someone in another town . Broke my heart, our neighbor taking my Poochie and then giving it to someone else . I was looking for him for days . I did not know for a week or two that she had done that ! Sorry for your heartbreak, Anathiona .

You are doing great! Don't be so negative toward yourself. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that every post I see from you is interesting and very touching. Keep your threads and posts coming, okay?? Please tell us more about Tiny, what did she do today that stands out in your memory that was particularly sweet or amusing?
Don't say you are a bad speller just because spelling anathiona doesn't come natural to you, who does it come natural to? Just me, since it is the middle name of my little angel daughter, LaKesha. I don't know anyone who spells that name easily.

Tiny is always sweet - she wants to play on me,sleep on me and love on me . She does not think I should do anything else but entertain her . She likes to crawl into the sleeves of my robe while I'm on the computer ,with her nose sticking out at my wrist . She is now learning to fetch the ball. She sure loves that game !
Thank you, anathiona . You are very sweet !

Thank you! Now if you hadn't have replied and told me all this new stuff on Tiny then I would not have this cute and funny picture of an itty bitty white and black chihuahua by the name of Tiny with only her nose sticking out of the sleeve of your house coat on my eyelids! That is so sweet! She is just full of cute antics isn't she?? LOL You are really lucky to have that little precious baby in your life. I know you must really treasure her. Tell us more!
