Oh. Why? Just curious. If they're killing thousands of cattle a week isn't it illogical to do it in such a time consuming (and messy ) way?
And the logistics of hanging a cow by the neck are to me. You're right, that is painful and disgusting (and desperately sad). I can't see it being the mainstream method of slaughter though. Could be wrong.
