Hey people are we just going to sit around and let this thread die??? We have a cone breeder in here, and I just found out my daughter has two cones, not just one and she is just letting them lie around in the bushes unattended, what do I have to do, take a picture of these poor pathetic cones she is mistreating, my daughter is a cone abuser, you have to help me deal with this.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Well isn't anyone going to tell me I should jump in and take care of these helpless cones myself? Well I have a confession to make, I am not a cone lover! There I said it.

Perhaps you or your daughter should do the right thing, and give the poor negelected cones to a place where they will have company and cone friends! I bet you could sneak them into the herd at the next DPW or construction site you come across, and no one will know! Cones do re-integrate into the herd quite readily, I am told!

You need to do what Karen said its the best Idea.. But be nice and give the poor things a loving home for a week. They would love it im sure

trayi52, I am typically JUST a breeder, but I suppose I can take in a few rescues. I only have room for them if they have their AKC papers. Otherwise, they are not worth my trouble.

They have a well balanced meal of gravel and tar.

Well I didn't know what to feed them, and I just don't think they have papers, I think my daughter, just found them, and brought them home, I don't have any tar and gravel to feed them and they are still just laying in the bushes where my daughter left them.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

OMG if I lived closer I would not hesitate an taking in these poor fellas. My Gilbert is really friendly now and I'm thinking he needs a cone-mate to play with. Please don't just leave them there. The nights are getting cooler and I'm sure they'd prefer to be inside. As for food seeing that they are laying by the bushes, you might try to encourage them to eat some grass. That might help. Do you have any gravel pits in your town??

Another idea is to call your local construction company and see if they will take them in. Karen is right in that they adapt to their surrounding very quickly. Please do the right thing and get them fixed, then find them good homes. Please???

lol, Kitty talker 003...I guess it's kind of a silly pet talk joke...I didn't have the nerve to tell the guys at work why I was taking pictures of my cones...I lied and said my 6 year old son wanted pitures.

I lied to my Mom too When she asked me why I wanted to take her cone from the basement I told her that it was for a Halloween costume. If I tried to explain the whole Pet Talk and Cone thing it just wouldn't register. Some people just don't get the concept.

BTW Welcome to Pet Talk Kitty Talker 003. You'll love it here. As well as having lots of fun, we love and support each other and each other's pets. I would encourage you to start a thread in the General section and introduce yourself.
