Sirrahbed, the cat shows that I've been to have been open to the public and usually cost from $5-$8 to attend. Sometimes there are also parking fees too. They usually also advertise them in the paper or on a website.
There have been from 6-8 judging rings and it's quite busy with people moving their cats from ring to ring as the announcer calls their numbers. Some of the judges talk to the audience and explain what they are looking for and how they are judging the cat. You can usually ask them questions too.
There are also many vendors selling cat products such as shirts, cat trees, cat toys, cat beds etc. They also usually have a raffle going on and many great prizes to win. AmberLee has won 2 times.![]()
You can also walk around and look at all of the cats in their cages but please don't touch them unless you ask the owner first. Some people don't want their cats touched. I've found that most people are very nice and will let you take pictures and pet their cats. They also love to talk about them.![]()
I've always had a great time at all of the cat shows and I'm sure I'll have a great time this weekend too.![]()
