When I adopted Sky, he spent a week in my spare bedroom. I would let him out for brief periods only when I was there. The introductions went very smoothly and now all 3 of my other cats love him. I'm sure that in time both Ally and Connor will get along or at least learn to tolerate each other. Good luck and please keep us updated.
