what about teaching him/her a new trick but make a game out of it and praise him/her with a treat so he/she won't get bored

A game i play with my budgies is i put them both on the ground and get a mirror and kind of move it around on the floor and they chase it, and if i lay it flat on the ground they look in it for hours lol
