Donna I think this is an excellent idea. I don't know how much it will help but it certainly can't hurt and can be made a part of your Human Resources file just in case, for whatever reasons, it should be needed in the future. It will also give you some satisfaction to get it off your chest.

I work for a doctor and believe me our reviews are nothing to brag about. I really do believe that positive things are overlooked and weak points emphasized because it gives him justification in his own mind to give feeble increases and keep the money in his bank account and not ours. I have also found in former places of employment that the more you take on the more they expect you to take on. That's fine but there should be recognition of that and, at the very least, an "atta girl!" I hope the perfect job is right around the corner for you. In the meantime I think it's an excellent idea to take advantage of some of those benefits. Good luck with the colonoscopy. I just had one two weeks ago and, though the test itself was easy, the prep is no day at the beach! **hugs**
