Pumpkin reminds me so much of my own cat - Trey who is also a long-haired Calico and
looks a bit like either a Maine Coon Cat or
a Norwegian Forest Cat. She walked into my life from a busy city street when she was only 7 or so months old. Tiny thing, very hungry for food and affection, and with a partially shaved tail. She has stayed for 12 years sharing my home(it's hers), my friends(two other felines, they are hers too) and my husband. She tolerates him even though he is also her benefactor. She is definitely a one-person cat preferring me to all others. She loves to what I call "do noses." I knew I had really bonded with her when she learned to jump on my lap and put her nose up against mine when I said, "Do noses." and that she accepted me as friend and great big cat person.
I love the name, "Pumpkin." Had a friend named that once, but have never heard of Pumpkin as a cat's name. What a lovely and wonderful gift Pumpkin must be!!!
