Hi tikeyas mom!

Yep, Cairn's fur as a rule changes colors as they lose the
puppy coat and the adult hair grows in. Maddie's doesn't
look quite as pronounced as Murph's in those pictures,
but she changed quite a bit too. Actually her coloring is still
changing at 12 and a half. She didn't have any silver on
her when she was younger, but developed that when she
aged. I thought it was age related, but about a year ago,
it started turning red and is not near as silver as it was.
And at the same time she also developed a lil' red mop of hair
on her head. For awhile there she looked like she had a lil'
red toupee on.
