Depends. If it's a plate with several different things on it, I'll turn it to my liking. If it's just a big thing of spaghetti or some other "by itself" food, I'll leave it as is.

If it has brocolli on it, you'd better believe, I turn it immediately so that yucky stuff is as far away from me as possible!!!!!
