OK - I edited my post so it's not confusing. I was trying to do it from the dogs' point of view, but I confused everybody. That's not my brother, it's my son. It would be nice to be that young again but, no. I'm getting to be an old fart.

My son is quite a gentle boy, though. Once he did shoot a squirrel with his pellet gun, and he felt so badly about it that I don't think he'll ever hunt. We do live in an area where people do a lot of hunting, and I'm afraid somebody will talk him into deer hunting some day. I hope not.
