Not quite sure how someone could put a statue up on public land - especially if it has a supposed religious message. Wouldn't it fall under the "seperation of church and state"? Of course no one could prevent him putting it up on private property unfortunately.

If for some unknown reason, he is allowed to put that disgusting message in a public place - friends and supporters of Matthew Shepard should put their own statue up right next to it. Or something tells me if it does go up - it won't last very long.
