Movie set hi-jinks and abuse of political power are two very different items.

Last night, to honor the election, we watched "Conan the Barbarian". At the end of the movie there's a voice-over from the wizard as Conan, much older, is sitting on a throne. The wizard says something to the effect of "he would have many adventures, but would eventually become king by his own hand"... and I said to my husband, "or maybe governor."

the first chad/voter card problem has showed up..

the cards do not fit into the voting machine...


another problem is that the poll workers cannot, by law, look at your card after you vote so there is no way to see if the voter voted correctly..

we went from over 4900 polling locations to 1700 across the state, the gal that oversees the process had something around 50 days to prepare for a job that takes months!!

This past weekend they warmed up the machine that COUNT the ballots.....but i think we may have screwed up someplace.......what's an election without controversy????

I have been monitoring the airwaves and haven't heard anything......yet!
