I have tried to remember when I first started putting hats on Edwina. Her first Christmas there were the reindeer ears.....but I think the first real success was her bridesmaid hat for my wedding. I bought it as a joke when I was out shopping with my husband's nieces at a dog store (they have a Yorkie.) Edwina would let me put it on her and....the rest is history! (BTW...that was May 1998.)
