I'll have to decline this time, Molly. That is about 1 1/2 hours away from me if there is no traffic and who knows how long if there is traffic. I will be with you in soul at least.
Let me know if you are ever closer to me! I hate to drive.
    Hugs.

Well, after A LOT of tears, and a lot of help from my mom to get my mind off of it, Dio is on his last leg to his new home. Both Tom and Louanne love him and had nothing but great things to say about him. Tom and Dio shared french fries on the way to Madison and then he went visiting with Louanne at the conference while in Madison and I talked to Louanne a little bit ago and they were on their way to the Cities to meet Michelle his new mom. I will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks to all for your continued support through this difficult time.

At least the hard part is over now, Molly. He is going to a wonderful new home. It will be ok.

She called me at 2am (just as I asked her to) and she was SO excited. She said that he got to her house and ran through the house jumped up on her boys' bed and rolled around and gave them kisses and ran into her room and jumped up on the bed to give the boyfriend kisses (who was thrilled! lol). She has taken him for 2 walks to meet neighbors and one neighbor came back over to the house to see him again because he thought he was so cool. I am now at peace with my decision. Am I happy about giving him up? No, but, at least he seems happy and she is thrilled....it must be a good match.

I'm glad Dio has made it safe and sound to his new home. It does sound like a very good match. A sad day, but with a happy ending for Dio

Even though I know this is hard for you, I'm glad to hear that Dio is settling into his new home so well. That in it's self must make you feel a little more at ease.

After hearing of Dio's reactions, I would feel better, too, Molly. He seems like he fit right in. Good luck, Dio.
Continued hugs to you, Molly, hope you feel at least a little better that he is happy in his new home.
Keep us updated on his progress.
