NEVER FEED NONAME BRAND CAT FOOD they can cause really bad problems in your cat. my first cat dyed because we fed him no name brand cat food
TM this is a quote of yours from another cat thread.

Not to be rude, but Friskies isn't that much, if any, better than a no name brand cat food. Friskies isn't very healthy for your cat and could to lead to problems later in life.

I'm confused. What is no name catfood? Is that a brand or does she mean generic when she says no name?

Yumi has Purina One , light or weight controll as it is the only food she does not bring up again strait away (we have been to the vets and they were no help) so we will stick with the Purina, Yumi coat is also ALOT nicer now (not so dry)

oh Yumi will also have some tinned Purina Tuna as a treat maybe 4-5 times a week, and some uncooked steak or chicken.

She does have a disability, called dyslexia. A spell check would NOT help, because she sees letters and numbers backwards. Even reading is difficult when you have dyslexia, so a spell check does nothing for you.
    "Accorn"?
Sorry, I just don't understand this?? Her kitty's name is Acorn...it's her kitty that she is being given when she moves out.

Thanks for all your comments. Unfortunatly, Sara is on a no-name brand. My mom won't listen to me. I hate this food, it's so terrible. I've been trying to give her more of the wet food my mom has been getting lately, but my mom still says to mix in the dry food. Luckily, Sara hasn't been eating the dry as much as she used to. I hope my mom takes a hint. I can't wait until I get a job and can afford to give my baby the best.

While I think it's great that you are trying to look out for a friend, spell check does help. I have dyslexia as well, and I don't use that as an excuse to be lazy. I also have several friends who are dyslexic and we still take the time to make sure things are spelled correctly. Now if I actually have to handwrite something that's a whole different story, I have such a hard time with manuscript. But with typing spell check does work even if you are dyslexic, if you spell the word wrong then it gives you the correct spelling it's not that difficult.

To answer the original question, my two are currently on Science Diet both canned and dry. They seem to be doing very well on it, they are healthy have beautiful coats and shiny eyes. However I think I will soon be switching them to either Wysong or Wellness because my boss sells these two brands, she has a pet food buisness. They are both a little better quality then Science Diet, however I still think Science Diet is a great food.

I feed my 4 cats Hill's Hairball Control, Sensitive Skin (and sometimes Oral Care as well, but they tend to get tired of that one) and currently Hill's kitten food too because of Boomer.

Well I have to agree with Laura. There are people that have graduated college with dyslexia and with the help of computers. Become engineers, doctors etc.
I am sorry I was confused. I didn't realize she was naming/had named her cat Acorn.
