Yes, I agree that they sounds lik perfectly normal leasing or condominium covenants. We own a home in a subdivision and we own the land, but we still have to adhere to the neighborhood covenants. Plus, we live in the city limits which has a leash law as well as a pet number limit.

It's just the ways laws and bylaws must be written to protect everyone involved. i have to admit that the covenants are one of the reasons we chose this neighborhood. I enjoy having guidelines, and, like Pam said, its an agreement. The alternative is to agree to live somewhere else. It makes places available so everyone can be happy.
