Oh, can I realate! Fister is mostly an indoor kitty now, but he really wants to go out now and again. He jumps up on the kitchen table where he can touch the door handle - and he miaws at it! As if that would help - but then, we can't help but open the door so he at least can take a walk on the staircase. Occasionally, we let him out in the yard, but once we open the door to the outside, he can stand there looking for 5 min. sometimes, before he finally decides to go out.
