Unfortunately I can't offer any advice either since both of mine were babies when I got them, but I just wanted to wish you the best with your situation.

I could be completely wrong here (and someone correct me if I am)...but from my understanding it may be more difficult to introduce a male cat to another male...territory issues.

I don't have any advice, but I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
