Hopefully they'll don't think about it scratchwise?! Do you have to pull off the old wallpaper to attach the new one?! Then keep the cats outside while pulling it off, or they might get an inspiration here (scratch scratch scratch)...teehee
Funny you asked. I decided to hold up the four different wallpaper samples to the cats to get their reaction. Jazz and Ripley both head bumped the one I like the most but Scout decided to bite it. She wouldn't even look at the other samples so I'm not sure what her vote is.

As for them scratching it I've figured out how to get around that. We are going to paper above the chair rail and paint in a matching color below.

Today I start pulling off the paper. We are also painting the adjoining living room and we are putting down new carpet in both rooms.
