My Vet told me not to feed my dog puppy food, to feed her regular dog food and keep it down at all times for her because she had to build her stomach up again. Her body wasn't used to food and he said to let her ease into it herself. She only weighed 40 and should have weighed 85. Patience, fortunately, didn't have any medical problems like poor Hope does.
