A comp blood test up here at my vet is about $100 canadian so I would say that $215 down there is way over the limit. My Speckles was on Baytril about 2 yrs ago with her last bout of UTI and it took about 8 days for it to kick in. She would be peeing little spots for about 7 days, then all of a sudden she was fine. I kept her on the Bayril for an additional 7 days after that and she's been fine every since (knock on wood - my head ). The thing I liked about Bayril is that it's only a once-a-day pill and since pilling her is not an easy task that was great news for me.

Here's hoping little Peanut will get well soon. You've really been through the mill lately and I'm sending extra hugs over to you, Debbie.
