As you say, one day, way far away, maybe a boy just like him! I'm sure Herbie will find a wonderful home...in a flash!
Some of the other reasons you stated are why I resist the urge to get #3...(our town's limit by the way for "companion/pet dogs" per household) Star is so devoted to Cody and Cody is so stressed by changes/strange dogs; especially adult dogs in her home. She'd just go out and slink into a corner if there were another dog in the house. She and Star already compete for my COMPLETE attention!She had such a horrifying early life before her resuce. She deserves to enjoy her senior years without the stress of another dog; lots of peace and quiet and one on one attention!!
