When this thread popped up a few days ago I did some checking
and found that the emails & letters did help a lot. This place was
closed down & the animals were all transferred to the Polk Cty
Animal Shelter. Vicci Andrews, the owner of this bogus "Shelter"
was arrested & convicted on animal cruelity charges. I found
links to updates as recent as May,2003. Here's one link on the
