Nope, Luckies...'drop a dime' is an old gangsta type saying when you were going to rat someone out...tell the police, etc....that is what it used to cost to use a telephone, but the saying carried over to mean anytime someone told someone on someone else. (none of you EASL speakers should try to interpret that )
