I'm so glad that Watson is ok. How frightening!!!

I personally HATE all snakes...sorry to any of you snake lovers, but this experience is exactly why I am so frightened of them. It is a blessing that dog's handle snake bites much better than human beings.

My parents lost a dog (a little Boston Terrier) to a snake bite once. He was just having a nice run in the woods with his mom, Missy, and my dad and brother. And in a minute, it was over. Bad, bad memories for me.

On a lighter note...none of my dogs has ever been bitten by a snake. But I will tell you that snakes have been bitten by Honey, my Golden Retriever and Butter, my ferocious, hunting cat!! Thank goodness, neither of the snakes were poisonous, but I'll bet they wish they had never come in our yard, because they did not make it out!
