I too am very sorry to hear about Molly. I don't think I have ever heard of a dog with glaucoma but I have definitely had dogs with cataracts which is normally just an age-related problem.

I work for an ophthalmologist and it sounds like the treatment described is what would be done for Molly's human counterparts. Many of our patients do quite well on drops alone, but many need to go further with laser surgery. For the shunts we refer out to a subspecialist so I am not too knowledgeable about that treatment.
