    Her first solid food!

    Tonight we gave Bella her first solid food --- rice cereal. I captured some great pictures!

    *More Pics* as promised

    Bella and her family have already returned to the mainland but we had a great Christmas and New Year's together!

    My parents decided to buy a high chair to keep at the house for Bella and future grandchildren. This cheapo chair was Bella's first time in a high chair because her parents have yet to find the model they want to buy for their home. She loved the high chair! She would turn into such a goofball whenever we put her up there - it was like her very own stage!



    Playing on my bed... (she can sit up now!)


    This is a goofy one...I swear she is cocking one eyebrow at me thinking "weirdo!"

    I probably won't have many more pictures until I see her over Spring Break! When she was here she learned how to give kisses! Since she gets kisses constantly on her cheeks and big baldy head we figure she is mimicking this. I would describe it as "suck face" rather than kissing, but it's very very very cute! The first time she did it, it put her mother and I into tears because we were laughing so hard and feeling very emotional at the same time.

    My *adorable* Valentine!

    Here's my Valentine all decked out in red to celebrate....

    The rocking chair she is sitting in was a gift from Grandpa. I think he picked a beautiful chair!

    And here is Miss Bella giving herself an oatmeal facial....oh, I mean feeding herself!


    I get to see her in March during my Spring Break! I can't wait!!!
